We started 20 + years ago when seeing a need for crisis care in our community.
Our mission, originally, was to reduce the stigma surrounding suicide through community events which results in open dialogue.
After years of being a support to Taos by creating a gap analysis to prevent the reduplication of services, to the evaluation of crisis and emergency needs as well as implementing a successful crisis team that offered on site management and therapy to those in need, H.O.T has regrouped to become a community provider for Mental Health First Aid trainings.
We will continue to be a support to the non profits and agencies of our community.
